On Wednesday, March 2, 2011, we celebrated Dr. Seuss' 107th birthday. To celebrate his birthday, we didn't have cupcakes and ice-cream; yet we had an even better treat, we had green eggs and ham!!! Yes, green eggs and ham! The kiddos loved the green eggs and ham, and while eating their treat, Mrs. Judy read them the book, " Green Eggs and Ham". Then on Friday, March 4th the students had another treat! The cat and the hat was at the TCE library and ready to play games and read to the kids. They really enjoyed all of the activities that took place and learned a lot about Theodor Seuss Geisel, better know as Dr. Seuss. Parents, my challenge to you is to ask your child what they enjoyed the best. Was it the green eggs and ham? Playing games with the cat and the hat? Leave me a post and let me know:) I would love to hear from you!
