M&M Sorting
On Monday, February 14th, our class had the chance to do a sorting activity. The students were given a worksheet with colors written in hearts. They were then given a bag of M&M's and they were to sort the M&M's by color. After they had them sorted, then it was time to count how many M&M's that they had by color. This was a great way for the students to incorporate using their sight words (color words), sorting, and counting skills that have been taught. The kiddos really seemed to enjoy this activity. Ask your child what they enjoyed the best from this activity. Once you have discussed the favorite activities, please leave a comment so I will know!
